So playing on the PBE i found some things that were interesting regarding the new items.

Knights vow uses http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/3/37/Force_of_Nature_item.png/revision/latest?cb=20130319090334&format=webp as its place holder and http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/c/cd/Runic_Bulwark_item.png/revision/latest?cb=20130710101716&format=webp as the buff placeholder. And the new gem uses http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/1/1f/Breathstealer_item.png/revision/latest?cb=20130319094419 as its placeholder.

I find it very interesting at the possibility that these items were probably reworked INTO the new items. For those of you who dont know, Force of nature was once a spirit visage and warmogs combined. Breathstealer, the gem, was a very powerful exhaust.
