Do streamers get reported?

Don't get me wrong, I love QT but just seeing how he treats some teammates during games and doesn't get banned or anything makes me wonder if there is a little favoritism going on. If I were to do this in a game, damn sure I would get reported and most likely either suspended or banned. What is everyone's opinion on this, I think that what goes around comes around and streamers should get the same punishment as us. Cough Tyler1 Cough

The system is simple. If he's toxic and gets reported, he may be punished. If no one reports him, nothing can happen. There's no favouritism here. The system doesn't know who you are. In other words, the system doesn't care who it is punishing.

The only "favouritism" could be with the community itself. For example "Because it's QT we don't report him". That has nothing to do with Riot. Now, to show you the flip side of the coin:

He and any other streamer are like you and me. If someone reports them for being toxic, and the system decides their behaviour is unacceptable, then they'll be punished.

For how long have you not watched Tyler? He doesn't flame in chat. He's actually a chill guy. He was toxic before, thus why he was ID banned. He's reformed now and his new attitude has been acknowledged by Riot themselves.

If you badmouth people to your friends or even say it out loud to yourself it's a good way of venting without messing up the other person's mental state. It also has the added benefit of not being detected by the game making you perfectly honorable.

i like QT too, and i saw a video of him in which he get chatrestricted

the log were very small, like 3-4 lines, in the only toxic line he wrote "retarded" to the other guy

so i really think they do in fact get treated equally

tyler1 is another example, didn't he get idbanned, that goes to show no favoritism are applied

another example is shaclone, a ton of streamers get punished actually, why would you think otherwise?
