So I just got banned for 5min bceause I "abandoned during champion select". I was just casually picking a champion and then I just flew out of the game and got banned. This is the third time this happened to me in the last couple of months so can someone explain me why this happens?
Most likely your connection cut out, probably not them.
Also, it’s not a ban. It’s a dodge penalty. Way different. I went into this thinking you got a 14 day for dodging.
In that case you need to submit a support ticket and try to get technical help. I think they can find out if there's a problem with your internet connection or your PC settings.
