Changes & purposes.
Hello League of Legends! I am going to express my opinions and make questions about the Greater Quintessence of Revival. Each rune serve its purpose in summoners playstyles. However, there is a question that keeps repeat in my mind since i started playing League.
"What is Greater Quintessence of Revival used for when the goal is to survive?"
Greater Quintessence of Revival is Tier 3 rune which reduces 5% of dead time (up to 15% maximum). If death is the best CC, then -15% dead time is equal to
. It's probably the LEAST or NO useful rune in League. Personally, i think this rune itself is a troll because it fits so well with FEEDERS. Revive faster to feed more.
"Why does Greater Quintessence of Revival still exist through many seasons?"
Through 3 seasons there were s many changes in masteries, items, champions and other runes...but i have not seen a thing about Greater Quintessence of Revival's change. If it serves no great purpose then why should it exist. Instead of reducing dead time, reducing Summoner Spell Cooldown (in my opinion) would be more useful. Just think about it. Ivern, for example, he relies alot on Smite to clear a camp in late game while other junglers only take 4 or 6 seconds. More of examples, champions with poor mobility would have benefits from Teleport, Flash, Ghost; enemy summoners usually count the time left of your summoner spells to take advantages.
"If they unfortunately miss count the time left of our summoner spells, isn't it a tide-turned for our side?"
Reducing summoner spell cooldown is just my idea for a change of Greater Quintessence of Revival. There are more options that you, the community and Riot to creat.
"If a champion can be re-built, why cannot a rune be?"
See you in The field of Justice!
