ADC told to get out of mid lane

Newer player here. Normally I can google things but I can't find an answer to this. When I play adc if I get bot tower I rotate mid and help them mid get tower. A few times though I've had the mid lane tell me to get out of their lane even when more enemy champs are starting to come mid. I try not to take their cs and I'm going back to my lane before the minions get to back to our bot lane tower. Am I supposed to go mid or stay bot once first tower is pushed down?

You don't always go Mid when you finish Bot, even tho it is the normal strategy to do so in Solo Que or Flex Que whatever you wana call it

But some usually rotate Top lane, or stay in lane and just keep the pressure going. But its impossible to keep pressure bot if your jungler is not down there and theres no vision for you to keep pressuring bot lane.

Usually you can also just ignore your mid laner and just force push mid in. You don't really have to listen to idiotic peps who don't understand rotation

Just try not to take CS

ur doing the right thing

but b4 u take tower bot as a adc

think about this

how is my mid laner doing, is he winning lane? is he losing?

does the enemy mid have a good wave clear? ex Syndra Ziggs Viktor

if they do have wave clear try not to take bot tower and just freeze lane try to get as much gold as u can and make sure their adc doesnt get cs

if they dont have wave clear take tower go mid try to seige but dont make it a full blown team fight

like u said make sure u get back to bot to get the waves

if not going mid try going top have ur jungler hold bot lane with ur support and go help ur top laner maybe

or roam with ur support and jungler in the enemy jungle and see if u can steal some camps or get some picks

remember taking bot lane turret means earning part of the map make sure u use tht to ur advantage

It depends on the situation. If they are running a heavy waveclear champion you'll probably just be wasting your time mid, that would be a time to consider rotating top or getting some deep wards in their botside jungle (with the support) and returning to farming. In most situations though you are making the correct play, knocking down mid opens up the map for your team a lot. Your midlaner was just being salty and doesn't get that stalling out the game so they can passively farm isn't really a good play.

Depends on the situation, tbh push bot and see the Champs that are mid, ward and push they will back offend at that time you should back off,. In essence best defense is a good offense
