I dont care that he abuses Fevour of battle. (although lots of champs are) I dont care that he is building tanky instead of squishy. I dont care that his win rate is "apparently" fairly high

The thing i do care about however is that you have acknowledged a bug and ignored it until the patch. im am 99% sure that other champions have been disabled for arguably less. Yes its only 1 extra auto attack that he shouldn't have. But its still something he shouldn't have. People can say that its only 1 extra auto attack, but games can be won with one aa. You can snowball a lead because of 1 aa. Hell eventually Susan can kill the nexus in 1 (buffed) aa.

Im sure that all of you have had moments in this game where you would have won a duel if you just got 1 more aa, or they got away because you couldn't get that last aa off.

Lets say that renekton was doing fury damage on his W even if he didn't have 50 fury. I would safely bet that he would be disabled the second they found out about. or you can tell Phreak to "puns of damage me" to death. its a bug doing the exact same thing as yasuo's, its giving him extra damage he shouldn't have

People already complain that you have you favour champions much more than others, well you're certainly giving them a god dam good example.

If there is gravel in your boot, you take it out the second you notice. so do it

sona had a bug that boosted her winrate to the same high percentage. she didn't get disabled, nor was there a hot fix. the bug remained until the next patch. Same deal with Leona a few patches ago. The only reason people are up in arms about it is because it's yasuo.

They only disable champions if it's a severe game breaking bug, for example twisted fate's most recent bug caused sheen to never proc off his W after getting first blue buff, and caused some items like mikael's to proc every single time W was used, regardless of if it was on cd or not. They use hot fixes only when it's absolutely necessary, because they can lead to a lot of problems.

The argument that other champions have been disabled for less, therefore this MUST be favoritism is a ridiculous one.

What if Riot learned from past mistakes? What if disabling a champion for less upset their player base and Riot decided this time around "We don't want to make players wait two weeks to play their favorite champion again"?

First, not really. They haven't disabled champions for minor balance bugs for a very long time. They've been limiting disabling and hotfixes primarily to huge balance issues (larger than 1 autoattack), or to gamebreaking bugs. I honestly can't remember the last time they disabled someone for something of this magnitude, and given that you had to make up a hypothetical example instead of citing something that actually happened, I'm pretty certain you can't either.

Second, other champions have been left alone despite larger bugs. Need I remind you that not too long ago, Leona accidentally shipped with a helping of buffs to her CC without the accompanying nerfs, and got a 6% jump in winrate? That was a bigger balance issue than Yasuo is now, but it didn't merit disabling or hotfixing either.

This is just whining because people don't like Yasuo. While I'm completely on board with the Yasuo hate, there's no good justification for disabling him here. It's just not a large enough bug to deserve that treatment.

Taking off a boot is quick and easy. Hotfixes aren't. When you rush changes, or even just when you patch the game, you have a huge risk of introducing new problems. That's why they don't hotfix unless there's a serious issue.0

I just played a match up against Yasuo top lane and he killed me 3 times in trades, and every time it was because of 1 extra auto attack, aka 100 extra damage or so. We could have won the game if he had standard damage or was disabled, but no, their entire game plan was to camp for the literally broken champ (with a wukong) and half a broken champ that shouldn't be in the game right now carry them to victory. What. A. Joke.
