I realized that in ranked I'm WAY more likely to lose to smurfs than with team mates being toxic :(

I mainly play norms to try and get Mastery 7 on my favorite champs and maybe try to take them to ranked so I don't feel like an idiot trying to LEARN A CHAMPION in a game mode that was supposed to be about getting better at what you're already good at.

But being the anti-christ to my team mates without realizing I am. I played my pre mastery 5 Lulu against a Kalista and Leona that was total AIDS. I got a somewhat okay KDA from that game but I was pretty sure my Tristana was flaming me IRL for not shielding her at the right moments or even trying to polymorph the Leona.

Now I learned and understood why you shouldn't be playing champs you never played before in ranked. Another thing to know is that I have to play on a 10 mbps connection on wifi because of the way the internet is set up here. Everyone in my house have to constantly fight about who's gonna get the fastest internet speed. Generally I can't even play ranked all that often due to this technical issue. Usually the majority of the internet goes to two tvs that are always streaming kiddie youtube videos on high-def.

Verbal toxicity isn't the cause of losing games. It's the player who trolls, intentionally feeds, or a player who clearly doesn't belong in that ELO. If you're playing a new champion and lose, you're playing against players who have more experienced with the champion. It doesn't mean they are smurfing.

If you're deeply affected by verbal toxicity, use the mute button. It's simple.

i think its the other way around, if someone is bad at the game, people get toxic and lose the game, not the other way around. if you get pissed off someone and that throws you off and makes you want to fuck up the game, it doesn't make you any better than the person who pissed you off
