Please make URF a permanent game mode!

Title says it all.

Naysayers:

"They won't and do not ask.

  1. If you add something permanently you have to balance it. URF is a pain in the ass to balance.
  2. Queue times for normals would be awful with another game mode that most of the community loves (which still puzzles me, i find it uninteresting and stupid).

League of Legends is based on the standard 5v5 SR. Enjoy your URF when it's in rotating queue."

You can't tell them what they will and won't do. The same was said about ARAM.

  1. People said the same about ARAM. I also disagree.. it does NOT need to be balanced, as long as it's presented as a possibly unbalanced format.
  2. God forbid the community was able to play what they want! Haha.. MAYBE... normals wouldn't be plagued with non connectors and leavers/afk'ers if they could actually play what they wanted to!

You find it uninteresting and stupid.. yep, there it is. So how about.. you STAY OUT of a thread about it? How about you never play it? How about you not worry about it? It's apparent that thousands of people love it.

I do enjoy it. Does not mean I wouldn't love to enjoy it more often.

The problem with it is that you see very few champions in it. I mean, obviously there's a meta in Normal/ranked, but people can sort of shuffle their way around based on mechanics and game knowledge. In URF, it's just whoever has the more stupid OP chamion with reduced CDs/no mana costs. Yes, I'm pointing all this out in a competitive sense, and yes I realize that you're wanting it for the ability to just go in as whoever you choose and have ball seeing what stupid stuff you can do, but people naturally like to win, and will begin slowly using the stupid OP champs to ruin someone elses day and it'll just eventually become unenjoyable in the long term. I'm not saying it's unenjoyable at all, but eventually, unless you play those OP champs, you're not gonna win, and people will be fine with that for awhile, but they'll get sick of losing and seeing the same champs and just drop the gamemode.

Riot has said directly themselves that they will never add it due to the fact that permanent game modes need constant upkeep. The best you are getting is the RGM and that's it.

I'd rather them make Dominion a permanent game mode tbh, but alas I don't think it will happen.

In order for Urf to be permanent, they'd seriously have to do quite a bit of balancing, I am not sure how they'd please a lot of people and keep the population up for longer than a week
