Why Am I Getting Punished Because My Teamates Play Bad

Why am I getting punished aka a loss because my team mates don't know what to do. For example I could be doing well but my team mates lost lane. Alright I won't flame them for losing lane everyone losses lane but the thing that I see in this elo that makes me so mad and I get losses because my team mates can't seem to understand is when to fight and when not to fight. If its a 4v5 favoring the enemy team do you fight? No exactly, but my team mates can't seem to get that through their thick ass skulls and into their brains. Most of my games are because of my team mates not knowing when to fight and when not to fight. I can't fucking control them I tell them in chat and yet they still go and fight what's wrong with people in this elo (Silver 1).
