Vladimir's basic attacks have been changed to Melee for this rework, He now has a nice vampiric Longsword Sword and Has 2 secondary bars. 1 for mana and another with 3 tics for Blood orbs (See Q: Blood Draw) ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. -Passive: Crimson Pact: When Vladimir deals damage to an enemy champion or large monster with his augmented basic attacks that target bleeds for 1%-15% (based on Lv) of their current life over 8 seconds. During the 8 seconds Vlad gains life equal to 80% of the damage does this way. Only one champion may be affected by the passive at any point and has an 15 second cooldown for each champion affected. If Crimson Pact is transferred to from one target to another before the bleeding stops the cooldown for that champion goes into effect.

Q: Blood Draw: On first activation Vlad pull blood from his target and deals damage. This creates 3 orbs of blood that float behind him that will augment his next 3 basic attacks with magic damage and slightly increased range (by lashing the blood) at the cost of 20% reduced attack speed, or be used as a must have resource for the rest of his abilities. The orbs will stay with Vlad for 8 seconds before disappearing

W: Transfusion: On a .5s cooldown Vlad may use one orb to either slightly heal himself or a nearby ally. Each cast consumes 1 orb

E: Blood Rush: Using another orb augment his own abilities Vlad may dash a short distance through a selected enemy champions and steals a small amount of their health for himself as he passes through them and materializes behind . During this time Vlad is untargetable but is still Affected by AOE damage.

R: Hemoplague: Vlad taints a blood orb and selects a nearby opponent to infect. 3 seconds after the selected target is infected an AOE zone will appear around them. Any champion that enters the zone will be infected as well but without the risk of infecting others. Infected champions will take 10% increased magic damage for 8 seconds after they are first infected. At the end of the 8 seconds the target will be dealt a decent amount of magic damage.

AP ratios would be balanced in such a way that Vlad should not gain or me able to heal allies for significant amounts of health but rather focused on dealing damage. The reduced attach speed on basic attacks augmented by Blood Draw and lowered health restored by Transfusion would eliminate the annoying spell spamming that he suffers from now.

Blood rush would be for dueling rather than escape because it is target selected ability. AOE mages such as Syndra, Lux, Orianna and Xerath have little to fear from this ability because he is still targetable by AOE damage. Yasuo's Q would also be useful as it would strike the blood(Vlad) before it would pass through him to steal health.

Vlad may still build his typical magic tan and self heal build but it will now be at the cost of a significant amount of damage. Conversely has he now has melee basic attacks and a way to augment those attacks can is now open to building items that have attack speed and AP stat bounditem 3124 item 3115 . His Roles would change to Fighter/ Mage but with the ability to still build like his old tanky self but again at the cost of damage.

This next bit is a response to someone thinking that the Augmented AAs from Q would have low priority in his kit. And Hemo not doing enough.

Then a 10% slow on every auto augmented by Blood Draw. I already intended for the augmented autos to deal scaling magic damage and have range (like a really cool blood slash from the blade). And the bleed is 15% current health not total health over 8 seconds. Its more of an early game passive because any amount of life steal or burst negates it not to mentionitem 3075. There are not really any tanky champs that wont be able to soft or hard cc him and hit him back before he runs away with the health. But making the bleed/heal rate go to 20% of current health during Hemo might not be a bad idea. Remember though, even though the person affect by Blood Pact bleeds for 1%-15 (based on lv) over 8 seconds Vlad only heals for 80% of the bleed damage over that same time. This means that a life steal Vlad withitem 3072 item 3812 item 3153 would be totally viable! AD VLAD BABY! With this he would still have the same weaknesses of other AD life steal champs though. Burst damage and armor would hard counter him. So and AD Vlad could build item 3065 and item 3156 to be safe from a Leblanc but would be crushed by a Jhin or a LeeSin . This rework keeps Vlad thematically accurate but makes it so he can use literally any item in the game because he can now reliably auto for AD damage at the cost of ability damage or go hybrid for an even buy relatively low AP and AD number so item 3146 still works on him. The community loves champs with weaknesses, This rework makes it so each game Vlad gets to choose his strength (AD or AP) and his weaknesses (AD or AP damage).

He seems like he could be balanced around a state of the old shen with this rework +1

I think he should work something around like kallista spears

Vlad excels in drawn out trades so if his tides of blood stack to some amount then it can denote just like kallista rend

That's just me after I watched Valkrin play I finally found my inner vlad and he's actually decent in this current meta
