Mission: do X in game, excluding Odyssey

Wait, what? To participate in the event I have to NOT play the event? What's the goal, to include the ones that did not want to participate? Seriously RIOT, who designed these missions? Was it the same genius that decided to fight sexism with more sexism or is there a dumb virus epidemy in your offices?
