Could the map "The Proving Grounds" ever be reworked to come back?

I know that we have ARAM, and that The Proving Grounds was created as a tutorial map, but could it ever be altered into something different and come back as a new map? Could it even just come back as a Game Mode for Howling Abyss with its own alternate map skin (like how Summoner's Rift gets snow for Snowdown), and have an objective-based system like Nexus Siege/BMB? It just seems to me like LoL has removed a lot of stuff that it used to have. Items, Champ potential, maps...over time they should hopefully be able to come back fixed, but this map seems harmless enough. Why shouldn't it come back?
