Keeping this intro short, I will be giving my thoughts and ideas of Vladimir changes which are a lot more mild than you would think I mainly want to introduce better ways to play against Vladimir, especially in lane, to reduce frustrations when against him but still leave him as the blood hyper mage that gets a lot of health from his items. Big thing I cannot emphasize more is that this is a discussion post so you can discuss things about Vladimir here, and discussion does not involve (said or thought of but did not say) things like "you f****** suck and so does your ideas you piece of s******" just refrain from doing stuff like this and be more open minded please and thank-you.

I do need to state that if you think my ideas are just nerfs you are sadly mistaken also not the intention. My intentions are to make Vladimir better to play against and emphasize on his strengths and give him meaningful weaknesses and have elements of more reason to when to use it and when not to use it rather than: "Off cooldown? Then use!" Two things you can do to compare is both look at Vladimir's wiki page and to talk about things and I will gladly clear up misconceptions you are having here.


Basic Attack Range: 500 units Movement: 335 units per second


Crimson Pact (Passive): Vladimir gains (+2.5% bonus health) ability power and (+140%AP) health. These bonus do not stack on top of each other.

Transfusion (Q): Cooldown: 9/7.5/6/4.5/3 seconds; Cost: 10% current health; Range: 650 units Vladimir drains the lifeforce of himself and then the target enemy dealing 80/105/130/155/180(+65%AP) magic damage and healing himself for 8%(+1% per 100AP) of his missing health.

Sanguine Pool (W): Cooldown: 26/23/20/17/14 seconds; Cost: 20% current health; Radius: 150 units Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 2 seconds gaining 40% bonus movement speed that decays over 1 second. Enemies above Vladimir are slowed by 40/45/50/55/60% and take 8% increased damage from ally damage. Damage dealt to enemies directly above Vladimir by allies heals Vladimir for 15% of the damage dealt.

Tides of Blood (E): Cooldown: 4.5 seconds; Cost: 30/40/50/60/70 Health; Range: 875 units; Radius: 50 to 400 units Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood at the target location that spreads outwards damaging struck enemies for 50/70/90/110/130(+35%AP) magic damage.

Consecutive casts within 8 seconds of each other increase the total damage and health cost by 25% stacking up to 4 times, for a maximum of 100% increased total damage and health cost. Additionally all sources of self-healing on Vladimir are increased by 4/5/6/7/8% per stack and this value is multiplicative with every stack.

Hemoplague (R): Cooldown: 150/130/110 seconds; Cost: 100 Health; Range: 700 units; Radius: 175 units Vladimir infects all enemies at the target location causing them to be dealt 30/40/50(+10%AP) bonus magic damage whenever they are dealt magic damage or struck by a basic attack from either Vladimir or an ally champion for the next 5 seconds. Afterwards all infected targets are dealt 170/250/330(+75%AP) magic damage.
