Could we curb the sex talk with Eve a smidge please?

I love the Eve rework. She feels strong and flavorful. However, could we please tone down some of the sex talk? I get that she is a sinister seductress but imo some of what she says crosses the line a bit. I’m a family guy and I love League. I don’t want to play a character that says things that I wouldn’t want my wife or daughters to hear. I certainly can just turn off character voices which is probably what I will end up doing. I’m surprised that “suggestive language” is more acceptable than Graves’ cigar to rating councils but what do I know. Either way.... the new Eve is really fun to play from a game standpoint.

Graves cigar was removed because league is played in games were tobacco use is very strict. In fact neither cigars nor mild suggestive themes warrant more than a teen rating in the US. Every country has sex though. Honestly if your old enough to be married with kids your sorta overreacting.

... Turn off the voices.

Why try to get an entire aspect of her character, that many people enjoy, out of the game. She really isnt saying anything that terrible. I get if she was making porn moans and screaming profanities, but these are essentially nothing.

Evelynn When buying the Void Staff: "It's so... big." When buying the Void Staff: "Imagine what we could do with this." When buying the Void Staff: "Think of all the... places... this could go." On kill: "Mmm... I hate it when they don't last." Attacking Baron: "Finally! A man who can satisfy me." Attacking Dragon: "Don't worry, honey, I'm open to all types." Taunting Ahri: "Skank." Taunting Mundo: "So, you're a masochist? Whatcha doing later?" On kill: "Was it as good for you as it was for me?" Entering stealth: "It's better in the dark." Taunting Bard: "I can make you do a lot more than jingle." On kill: "Wanna do it again?" Respawn: "So, they like it rough?" Taunting Lee Sin: "Blindfolds, huh? Whatever does it for ya." Buying Cloth Armor: "Why not give them something to take off?" Taunting Nocturne: "Why don't we leave the lights on for this?" Ban quote: "Once again, a woman is left unsatisfied."

Edit: I think "skank" is the worst thing she says on this whole list tbh.

A game set in a fantasy world that revolves around characters killing each other. Who would have thought that the language is what crosses the line.

Riot are finally embracing the Teen-rating they had on release.

I prefer them to design characters for the rated audience and not baby-proof their game because parents can't accept or are embarrassed about darker/realistic character design.

I played her one time and was a little thrown off by it. I hate always wearing a headset, but I do so my kids down hear the language of games and such. Its the best we can do I guess.

I agree with the OP actually. It's not necessary and maybe other players should be respectful of that, especially if riot can get all up in arms about a cigar or homophobia.

No, we can't.

Out of the question.

There are over 130 other options for you.

They are double entendres. Not outright explicit sex talk. And the thing is, for a double entendre to work, the person has to have a prior understanding of all the possible meanings. If your kids heard someone go, "Finally, a man that could satisfy me.", or, "It's so big.", and they didn't have it in their heads to think of that as a sexual remark, it wouldn't be a sexual comment to them, because it's not an inherently sexual comment. The sexuality comes from personal interpretation, which requires a prior knowledge. So you're going to be upset your kids are hearing something they already know about and understand?

The ultimate irony is, the comments aren't actually sexual. They are about her desire, and hunger, for pain and suffering, not sex.

And seriously, I think your wife would be okay. I mean, you did have kids. I have to assume sexuality isn't a completely foreign concept to her.

I feel like your name "RUNANDSCREAM" is offensive. I mean, what are we running and screaming from? I feel like whatever it is it must be offensive. Also I hate creativity and free speech so i try to censor the content that other people create and the things that they say.
