Is this working as intended? (Worlds Pass)

I have the worlds pass and I play mostly arams. So I have noticed that winning a game with an A grants you 2 extra tokens, but losing a game with an A grants you 3 extra tokens. Moreover, losing a game and getting an S gives you more tokens than winning a game getting an A. How does this work?
