Analysis on Kled (AnD sKaArL)
I been playing Kled recently and he is a whole lot of fun, back in season 6, he was the bomb along with jhin. While champions like Aurelion Sol and Ivern can be so easily cheesed on, but still supportive at the same time. While we have.... Illaoi.... Kled is different, he was riot's second attempt at making a hybrid champion, which is two characters in one (the first being Kindred). It didn't work well in that department, but he sure excelled greatly in game. He is a fairly balanced champion that you need to keep an eye on your health, if all of a sudden you lose skaarl, you are now a tiny yordle who can't do much besides the w passive and a nearly useless q, also your movement speed sucks right then. However WITH skaarl, you give no cheese about your team, or the enemy team, or anything in general, Kled just gives no craps in general. Also a lot of people seem to forget this, but you don't just get courage (the bar that you have to get skaarl back) from cs or hitting champions, but you can also gain it from hitting turrets... which REALLY fills up the courage bar way faster, so if you push hard and fight hard and forget about the enemy team existing, you will do just fine. First off, his passive, I already mentioned it above and I don't want to do it again. Unless I lose skaarl... His q is an ALWAYS ENGAGE tool. You land this on your enemy laner, still go in, because the second hit of the ability does so much damage than you think so always max this, considering this is also the only ability you can cast without skaarl, except its a gun... His w is more useful than you might think, once you engage your laner and you have this, you get four free fast hitting autos with extra damage for nothing at all. It's good for trading and getting extra damage, and it works even better with ravenous hydra. His e is... almost useless but not entirely. You can use this to close the gap between you and the opponent you have hooked with your q, and its a good way of escape or engage. I wouldn't recommend attempting to kill anyone with it since the damage is... not that good. Finally his HOLY MOTHER OF DUMBLEDORE'S DEATH BEES ultimate. This is one of the greatest ults in the game, its the best way to start a team fight and if you manage to get an enemy champion close enough while using it, free chasing hit, because you still don't give a crap when your Kled. The movement speed waves are what mainly start a teamfight, so your team can follow up from the chaos you have made already. Is Kled broken? no. Is he weak? no. He is actually fairly balanced and is an all engage champion. You just got to make sure your trusty steed's health is on check so you can do a lot in a team fight... or well if you want to start one your kled anyway. So I say you should play and try him.
