Sona's difficulty in Game

Okay so, I main Sona and she is currently the only champion I have a level 7 with because I was playing just her for a long time and get consecutive S's with her so I leveled quickly. When I play ranked, my Bot lane complains about dying after we go in because they decided to rush when I don't even have my ult yet, I don't tilt often and in that case I usually just mute them because I can't stand people like that. As a Sona main, everyone assumes she is super easy and takes no skill to play.. Granted, I joke a lot in game about her "No skill Q" but it does take skill. To have no health, dive under turret, Q for a kill and then get out without using Flash, isn't the easiest thing in the world. Yes, maybe because your Q locks onto enemies it could be considered easier than most, but you need correct positioning and it isn't just spamming, that's what bugs me, everyone says you spam Q, W, E and you're out with a kill, that isn't correct in any regard. Maybe late game with Mana-Regen and Ability Power up the ass.. But early game? When you're bot with your ADC and they go in and you only have your Q for poking, your ADC is dying and you need to save them AS A SQUISHY SUPPORT, and then you save them and land 2 kills for you and your ADC, is that easy? I'm not saying she's hard to play, but I'm saying people think she's so easy and then go play and feed the enemy team like no tomorrow because they don't know how to get out once they've gone in. I would like to know your points on this.. Thanks you :)

The thing is people don't realise how hard it is to play a 325 base ms squishy champion that has no escape/defensive spell (heal and shield are garbage in early game) at least in diamond

Sona also has to manage her passive which requieres: -stack management -have the spell you need for the good enchent ready -know what enchent you should use

she also has to manage to an extend: -her mana -Q range since there isn't any indicator -ulti range (i always miss it because i think it's as long as i think it is)

but since people never play Sona, they look at her kit and go like "oh this champ just faceroll"

janna is easier, you just stay behind, shield your adc after he was harassed, push random tornadoes and get a mad kda

wish she had her old passive though (i.e. a permanent ms boost to all the allies on the map)

To be honest, we do pretty much spam our Q,W,E. I mean seriously compare it to other champions that are not evelynn. and our qwe keys per minute are fkn insane lol.

I don't build that at all. So, maybe you're wrong lmao.. Just saying.

I build item 3100 item 3107 item 2301 item 3174 item 3089 which is a standard Mana Regen---Ability power Build for Sona which many Sona mains use, give or take a few items because I don't build directly like everyone else.

I dont build Health unless it's in something with the AP or MR. (P.s- A said Utility Sona was useless. Without AP or MR there is no way you could even come close to beating anyone. Sona is a SQUISHY support for a reason, she is meant to be built with AP not Utility.) And my 6th Item is situational.

Sona is among the top 5 easiests supports in the game.

  1. Soraka
  2. Blitzcrank
  3. Janna
  4. Sona
  5. Thresh

Well lets be real here Every champion that uses mana has to use every ability for a certain thing instead of pressing all the buttons. Sona isn't special
