This Aatrox rework is a joke. (Horrible)

In all the years I've played I've never been compelled to come to the League of Legends discussion boards to see or talk about anything.

Obviously myself and others are not happy with the re-work. We can all go into depth about it but I really can't be bothered. It's beyond obvious that this new version is horrible in many ways. I think the only thing I like is the ult lasts for 12 seconds now and procs the regeneration.

If an official riot member actually cares enough about the topic and would like to know why then I'd dedicate a page or 2 worth to all the reasons in a much more mature manner and detail than this rant is going to be.

You just can't do what you used to be able to in the past. I could bully top lane for 3 or more kills just having a dorans blade till I needed to back. I even have a ranked game I did a few days ago with the old aatrox where I went 8/0 and the enemy team surrendered at 16 minutes.

It's just hard not to get annoyed over that fact and to feel like there is nothing that can be done now due to the release and the way riot works. There should at least be a vote or official riot or League of Legends poll to revert the changes.

He was 1 of 3 of the only champions I actually enjoyed playing besides Kayn and Nocturne. I like high risk high reward all in champions that have an interesting persona, which, don't get me started on, sucks for the new Aatrox. Why make him sound like he has to try really hard in his voice to be scary or worthy of being considered above others? It undermines the whole feeling the character is meant to give off.

It hurt even more when you had to go make a new trailer Aatrox: World Ender | Champion Teaser just to help sink in the fact that you can't even be bothered to realize you made a mistake. You put in a lot of work for something the majority of people dislike.

He was perfect the way he was in my opinion. The " W " was the most satisfying part of his old kit in my opinion. Bursts of damage and bursts of healing. The ability to jump and knock-up then gain more reach with your ult. Perfect. Then the passive itself also meant you had to learn to play Aatrox properly and time your decisions on when to attack to trigger and get the most out of Blood Well. The new passive might as well be, LITERALLY, nothing. That's how useful I find it. You could take it out just to make him sound less clunky and no-one would care to be honest.

I think the worst part is I couldn't help myself from wanting to vent my frustration at the person who made the decision. I get it, ya can't make everyone happy in a community. But you would see if it came down to a vote that just popped up as a player entered their client or even if there were some voting options and then like a little feedback message box, riot would realize the current Aatrox is worse.

EVERYTHING just got taken away. I dare you to prove the disappointed people like myself wrong riot. Let us vote and you'll see. I'd say half of the votes will be people that just don't care or don't have a better grasp of understanding as to why the new kit and persona are disgustingly terrible now. Nothing against the artists and 3D animators and people that worked on the particle effects, he looks fine, sword a bit weird but overall fine.

I think the worst part is that this isn't even a proper mature/professional discussion on what I consider to be distasteful with the new changes. It's just me crying out in frustration.

I think the team has gone too deep to go back on their re-work. To step back now and revert to the old would mean the work was more-a-less wasted and the teaser trailer would become just a preview of an idea that didn't work out with the community. I strongly doubt a revert will happen and I don't want to feel powerless to not make a difference on that. I just want to be just one of many voices to add my opinion to the pile. Something that game studio's (other companies obviously do it as well) will always try their best to avoid is to admit they were at fault or had made a mistake. I've worked as a supervisor in one before and other companies and it always annoyed me when we had to come up with a reason for why we're not the one's at fault. Honesty is always better in my opinion when building rapport in any relationship or with a client.

After I post this I'm probably not going to come back unless Aatrox is reverted either way I think. Even though I mentioned if a riot employee took notice. I can't be bothered looking or reading through those that just can't agree or don't. Call me a hypocrite but the last time I had something good going was when I mained fiddlesticks, and we all know his changes worked out :P (He's not as good as what he was in his prime either)
