Preseason Thoughts

I'm going to keep this short because I don't have time to write out every individual thing, but my general thoughts are as follows:

To keep league feeling fresh and to make every game feel different Riot designers decided to make some wacky ADC changes. I'm a big fan of the kit changes, I think they are all cool and interesting (regardless of power level). The new baby-baron looks cool and will give a chance for top lane to be in the game pre-15 min. The new masteries (again, regardless of power level) look to bring an interesting aspect to the game allowing you to choose where to invest your strengths. It all seems great, but for some reason Riot designers wanted to change up nearly every item in the game. This is really the one big stick in the mud for me in preseason. Nearly all changes to items drastically help AD champions at the expense of AP champs. For just one example, Zhonyas was hurt- badly, less gold effeciency and stats, with an increased cost. If the point of ADC is to start weak but end up super strong (in a general sense) then why do nearly all ADC items now give tons of crit along with lots of attack speed?

Summary: I like most of the changes to gameplay, but itemization changes were really just... uncalled for... There wasn't a problem in items to solve, and now some champs will get screwed over needlessly.
