Am i the only one who gets constantly harassed for being level 88 legit everygame by players? Why should i have to full mute all to have decent gameplay. And there's like no avoiding it; some people in this community are just dicks and they're in every elo

~woa ur lvl 88 get a life, what do you even do in your spare time ~Lvl 88 and still plat? ~You're lvl 88? that's insane

Trust me i'd be doing a favor to holding back on the quotes.

Eh, I could be 90+ right now. I don't even work atm. I live on gas/oil welders pay check. xD

I had a feeling this sort of thing would become a thing when they first announced infinite leveling.

That said, it haven't found most people actually notice your summoner level unless you're unranked (since many look ups just say level where rank would be) or tell them.

Infinite progression systems are good for player retention and feelings of achievement and so on, and potentially push people to play on their mains all the time instead of jumping between smurfs, meaning people will most likely be on accounts with mmrs matching their skill level which is nice.

Really the sort of people looking to pick on you will probably find something no matter what ("X games and still <rank>?" has pretty much always been a thing), so I'd blame them and carry on ignoring them rather than blaming the level system.
