me and one of my friends often try to climb together in ranked and we would go adc and supp, i often go tahm when im supp as that is what i'm best with and he often goes thresh when he is supp, when i am adc im best with trist and kog and normally switch in between them and would like to what other supps would be good for me besides thresh, thresh normally goes very well and my friend is high quality at the game but i just wanna know for when i am in solo queue what else would probably fit me.

If you like thresh support, I would recommend playmaking supports.

Rakkan is a good one you might wanna try.

Taric Takes time to master but when you do or you figure out what he excels at hes almost unstoppable in lane. There are some exceptions but since you like TahmKench you would understand how to maneuver possibly for melee ranges and such with Taric

If you looking for some off-meta but work really well as it catches enemies off guard hugely and are fun to play Skarner Shen Sion Amumu all really good supports.

Skarner He's only useful at 6. However the thing is his 6 is a suppression and is SO powerful due to not many things (if none at all) can cleanse it. If you master it you can easily become an unstoppable force. Pared up with tank and AD items you can actually solo kill some junglers out of the pillars he has. And even ADC's or other supports.

Shen I'm not sure about next season... As I heard from a main he doesn't like him support w/the new runes however he's an extremely good playmaker if you know how to use his taunts properly and how to use his W. He can make a fight flip upside down in seconds with his W and his Q damage early is insane. Now to mention those sweet ults when people are ignited x'D

Sion Tank tank tank. Relic shield with his W he just never dies. So much health and shields pair it up with tank items and HP items he just has SO much health and so much CC. Not to mention his E gives armour shred if the first enemy hit is a champion (same with minions.)

Amumu He's a BLAST. W Q E does SO much damage. However its hard to use sometimes as it depends on the enemy team, and what your adc is... It's very dependent on a Jinx Jhin Kalista Xayah being on your team. But if you can understand his strengths and weaknesses hes a real fun support to play. Especially his ult mmmmm

Pairing it with Stoneborn Pact is SO amazing (people don't go this generally. However its so much better then Windspeakers imo.) it literally makes her super good in terms of sustaining  your team. If you don't mind dying I do suggest giving it a try :)

Yorick is another play maker. Sometimes I like to take my ghouls and go hunting for a rogue jungler. Sometimes I take dragon. Sometimes I kill their bot. Whatever, the idea is get ghouls and go to work.
