I have a few things to say.

I know many people feel the same, but I feel like if we don't get vocal enough about it then our complaints will go unheard (even though at this point riot has paid 0 attention to every complaint I've seen).

The new champ select is really nice, it looks stunning, and the way that it works is really nice for someone who wants to get ready for ranked or do something outside of their comfort zone.

HOWEVER.

Removing Team Builder was stupid. You guys called it "experimental" and if you can't see that the experiment was a massive success then you're obviously blind. The best thing about this game for people who don't play ranked is that you can pick your favorite champion, go wherever you want with them and queue up for team builder. You only get teams that actually want you there, and you're never bullied out of what you want to play. It was great. Not everyone has a massive arsenal of champions that they're comfortable playing to choose from, or is comfortable filling in whatever role everyone else doesn't pick. And arguing with someone else over who gets to go mid, or jungle, or whatever isn't fun for anyone.

It's been clear for a good while now that you guys don't really care about your casual playerbase at all, considering that the only changes you see to champions are based on how often they're seen in the LCS, or items are valued by how well they support 'competitive integrity'. It's tiring to continue playing a game that I once really enjoyed, but since ranked or anything ranked-adjacent isn't what I enjoy playing, I'm all but left out of the community.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, and at this point all I'm asking is that Team Builder be brought back. If you have to remove a game mode, rid our presence of Blind Pick at long last, since almost anyone will choose team builder over blind pick if given the choice. It's not a fun game mode for many reasons, and is in no way a suitable replacement for team builder for those of us that are now left without anything to play. I don't enjoy being bullied out of my lane, or role, or champion, or anything of the sort, and now I'm being bullied out of one of my favorite queue types.

Maybe I'm wrong about blind pick, maybe there are people who play blind pick every single day and enjoy it massively, but somehow I doubt it.

If a single rioter sees this, then maybe there's some hope, but I'm not holding my breath. Just be aware of the fact that you keep making changes that your playerbase doesn't enjoy or support, and it's starting to tick people off. Reconsider this decision and show us that you actually give a shit about what your community has to say.
