Two years, prestige skins, tested a new ranking system, two new ranks, but still no decent client?

Please Riot, I just want a League client that doesn't lag. People have been complaining about the new client's bugs and lag for nearly two years now, but you still haven't done anything to improve our experience. It's extremely frustrating to have to wait nearly five minutes for my client to load up completely, this is the kind of issue that belongs in the 2000s, or with small, start-up gaming companies, but not one as wealthy and as well-equipped as Riot, who aren't just a small indie game company anymore. If it's too hard to reverse your client to the old one, at least please give us some sign that you're doing something to fix up this major annoyance, instead of continuously releasing new trial passes or prestige skins that very few people actually enjoy.
