Hey, can we talk about Camille, Jhin?
Simply-put, I'm afraid Riot will follow Camille's Q and Jhin's P in pursuit of "unique" design, without really realizing that they're giving champions something in their kit that directly counters their main weakness. And you know what's worse? ...I'm afraid that'll become the norm.
The idea behind Jhin and his clip-based attacks are that each individual attack is stronger than it'd otherwise be, but in return he has a limited number of attacks before a short window of vulnerability.
In theory.
We all know that Jhin is at his best after blowing his 4'th shot, while reloading - because it means he can run and re-position himself, even when you'd be lucky as fuck if a champion other than him had gotten an ult that did just that.
No, not calling him OP or UP, I'm saying that part of his kit directly counters his biggest weakness, and the thing people're supposed to play around when fighting against him.
The idea behind Camille and her Q is that, in return for having a fairly large window of visual wind-up and preparation, you can nuke someone to high hell and back regardless of their defenses, sort of like Fiora does with her own P.
In theory.
We all know the reality of Camille, as well: that she will almost always get her second Q off unless you have some reliable CC, and, instead, they nerfed every other part of her kit to make up for the raw power that movespeed provided to her.
Downvote me all you like, but at least have interesting discussion. My main reason for posting this is because I'm pretty afraid of this becoming the "normal"; To have a champion with a kit, with a distinct weakness that is directly countered by a passive portion of their kit.
Remember Darius' bleed increasing his movement speed, when his only weakness was being kited? I'm worried about that becoming the normal, but even then his movement speed was relegated to five stacks of Hemorrhage, instead of being a constant.
