FFS Riot, figure it out

Riot, you obviously know when someone DCs and leaves the game for an extended period of time. That's why the surrender vote only contains 4 boxes instead of 5. So why cant you figure out how to manage LP losses for this same infraction. I mean, I am at the point where I'm bringing in 17 LP for a 5v5 40 minute win but I am losing 21 LP for a 4v5 20 minute surrender. You obviously don't give two shits about DCs because you would try to bandage the cut. What's the point of trying if you're just going to lose more LP for a 4v5 than you would win in a even match. DCs and AFKs have to be at an all time high. This past week, in the 15-20 games I played, 7 had AFKs/DCs. And yet, we're just tumbling down.
