Strength of the jungler

I have a feeling the jungle role is too strong (at least for low elo). People constantly pick champs like Lee Sin, Hecarim, Shyvanna and can destroy even if their behind after dying a couple times. there a way to work around this, because I feel like I do decently well yet the impact of their jungler (who's most likely a stronger jungler in the meta than our own jungler) is too overwhelming and can decide the game even before it starts (people get tilted off the face of the earth after getting ganked once or twice, demoralization, etc).
