Riot, Regarding balance - Why not have both team play from blue side on player screen?

Hi all, I usually never post but it really really like to see win rates playing from the Blue side vs win rates on top/red/purple side. Is it 50% - 50% or do teams playing from the blue side win more games. I find myself way more comfortable playing from blue side. And always sigh, when I start from top side.

Cant riot have the game display on blue side for both teams, all it would take is swapping the map cords, would't it?

In other words to the observer it will show from top side but to the person playing it will show from the blue side...

Thoughts?

the amount of potentially game breaking bugs this would possibly cause just wouldn't be worth it

How? Baron and dragon would be the same thing, both bases would be at the same side, so players would be clicking on the same places, and movement and interaction with enemy team would be impossible.

I get what you're saying, just basically invert the map for the other side so they still come out the bottom left corner, but what this would do is reverse what is "bot" and what is "top" based on which team you are on.

If you inverted AND flipped the map to put the dragon pit on the correct side for both teams, then they'd have to reverse one team's inputs to make it match up on the other screen. It would add an extra step for the server that would cause lag.

It would be more of a hassle than it's worth.
