Longer games are closer games = more fulfilling games, shorter games have no soul

This is the problem with league at the moment, everyone says the games are too fast and one sided yet Riot keep doubling down on shorter games

Whats fun about a short game where one team has 20 kills and the other has 3 at 15 mins? Even if you are on the winning side it's not fun to deal with, just a literal free win where my teammates played well (AP Sona main btw, I don't get to play the game until 25 minutes)

Longer games (35 min average) is not a bad thing, it points that both teams are equally matched and one team isn't just snowballing out of control This game was a thinking mans game, now it's a clusterfuck of running the meta champions (those who take like 1-2 kills to snowball insanely hard)

Please for the love of god, focus next preseason on lowering snowball and extending game length by around 10 minutes "but muh e-sports" I hear you say e-sports games end up slogging on due to either teams not wanting to risk the enemy team snowballing, the current "speed up the game" game plan that was basically soley for e-sports isn't even working for it, all it has done is make the game for 99% of the playerbase a joke and out of their control

I just want to like League again I have played LoL since season 1, I always end my games red faced and pissed off, they are not enjoyable games even if I win Please fix your game Riot and put what made it enjoyable back into the game

I prefer games to last no more than 35 minutes

They did say they were dealing with the too much damage problem in the coming season.

But overall I agree 100%, and the problem (to me) lies in considerable failure with matchmaking. Games are made worse by a dramatic disparity in levels of play.
