How do I crawl out of bronze/low silver hell?

Summary:~~ I've been playing this game for nearly a year, Im lvl 115 currently, I do not know everything and Im silver5/bronze1 I making this not to flame bronze players in general, I want to get out of silver and climb however teammates are usually the ones feeding. Am I just bad or is it them?~~

Few months back Ive got placed as silver 5, I thought my life was over. I thought I was a horriable player, a complete trash can with legs and arms and a big monkey brain. I usually do better in solo que.

(my friends aren't the best to put it lightly)

I dont think Im bad and thats the problem.

I dont know if my performance is just very bad, or what, honestly I want to say in most draft pick games

(Rank is soul crushing at this rank)

I do very well, I think my game knowledge is good and I win most of my matchups as kayle (except trynd which I ban every game)

Ranked games usually me going top as kayle and winning lane, but I then have to deal with a fed jg or bot lane, I dont think its fair for me to blame my team every game.

its not fair to them and dosent help myself improve.

So this is my question to people that Are good at this game, is there a place I can take a quiz, or coach (preferably free or upload a clip to someone to have reviewed)

something or anything to determine if Im just really bad or if its my teammates.

Im in bronze 1/ silver 5, my goal is to play kayle top most games till maybe gold 3-1, hey it might be impossible but if I can I want to at least improve my gameplay overall....

Thank you Kayle

Kayle takes too long to become strong enough to 1v1 while split pushing. Play someone like Jax who can duel better and just split push every game.

You might want to check a player named WingsofDeathx. He plays Kayle top every now and then.

I warn you, the more you climb, the more noticeable is how certain champions are just far better than others. Which sucks. Kayle is not one of the best picks for top lane. At all.

You can download challenger or diamond players matches from op.gg and then watch them. Compare what they do to what you do. It’s the fastest way to learn in my opinion

Watch Youtube videos and such to learn a lot about top and howto play the lane. A good program that I heard of is called Pro Guide, you can find the link to the website on one of RedMercy’s patch note videos. That program has courses to help you improve and tips from pros and other high elo players. You can most likely find a course on how to climb with Kayle in there

But I also recommend that you learn more about the abilities and combos of the top lane champs, and how to generally play the lane and game. That way you have a higher chance of winning against a counterpick for Kayle, and you can play better overall.

As a top lane main I heavily recommend learning a lot about split pushing, it is a really good strat when played correctly. But in low elo you have to adapt to what your team does to avoid putting yourself in a bad spot while split pushing. If you are a split pusher (like your’s truely) then I would recommend learning how to play Nasus, he is in a fairly good spot right now and his early game weakness is very similar to Kayle. Tt might be easier to transfer between these two champs because they usually play the laning phase in the same way, which is basically play like a bitch until lvl 6. I actually learned all of my split pushing knowledge from playing Nasus and learning about Nasus lol.

Whether you practice these things or not, I will share some tips that have improved my performance, and should help yours too:

  • Farm as well as you can. Most low-elo players have very poor cs. Even a 5/0/0 Fizz with 30 cs shouldn’t be further ahead than a 0/0/0 Garen with 120 cs.
  • Master wave manipulation in lane. Freeze on an opponent who can’t duel you. Shove when your enemy backs. Use bushes to avoid minion aggro when needed.
  • Recall if you kill your enemy laner. Shove the wave, take a turret plating if you SAFELY can, and cash-in to effectively snowball a lead.
  • Never hold too much gold. If you have over 1.5K gold, you should ping it and find a safe time to back. You’re almost certain to get shut down if you’re holding that much.
  • Prioritize objectives over kills. Your team may force fights at every corner, but if you know how much you can get away with, punish the enemy team for not trying to stop your carnage. This doesn’t mean ignore fights, but understand when they’re necessary or important.
  • Take initiative. Be the one to guide your team to victory with pings and communication, especially when trying to push a lead. This is by far the easiest way to win a game if you’re ahead.
  • Encorage your jg to prioritize winning lanes. If you’re winning, set up for ganks. If you’re behind, analyze your team’s stats and get your jungler to play around the winning lane.
  • Aid your jg with scuttle crabs. If you see them approaching your side of the river for the crab while you’re pushed in, go down and give them a boost. This could also score a kill on the enemy jg if they try to contest.

There’s a lot more tips I can give, but that would become an essay. These tips brought me from B3 to G2 last season using off-meta soloQ champs, so they should work for you too!
