Ranked Auto Fill

I know mid-lane is a pretty popular lane, but it seems more then ever I get auto-filled or second rolled. Auto fill is designed to improve queue times which is understandable, why is there no option to disable auto-fill and choose to have long queue times? Most people I have talked to or pulled a in-game Hasinshin around agree that they would be willing to wait with longer queues to get the freaking roles they want. I am sure the company has reasoning, so this is more of a discussion topic and curiosity that maybe some riot employee can help answer. Sincerely, A tilted player who has lost 10 matches in a row demoting twice with like 6 auto-fills.
