I take FOTM in the vast majority of my games

As a tank support main, I take it in literally every game I get the support role. I prefer the FOTM/Ruby sightstone to the Eye upgrade for relic shield since the active is better for combat (and also, sightstone isn't as necessary in a low elo stomp where you can control vision with just trinkets and control wards). FOTM rush actually feels good in lane, and having the choice between that and the Eye provides the option for DIVERSITY in our builds, which is great.

Losing that active is really going to suck. Not even just personally - FOTM has a higher purchase rate than FQC or TOA, yet that's hitting the gutter and those apparently aren't? Seriously, that's lame. The current quest is also great, especially when put up against mages supports.

I've loved preseason in basically every way. I've had zero complaints with the direction of the game thus far. And now the one thing I buy in 100% of games where I get my role is on the chopping block?

I legitimately hope this change doesn't make it through. And if it does, I hope we get a FOTM replacement. Even then, it's not going to be worth the change. Losing the quest reward shield plus FOTM active shield is a pretty significant hit to survivability, especially early, I think.
