Minion Block Kills Me Every Time

Minion block kills me every time. It really does. (Not really, but it does make up an abnormally large number of my deaths...) The minion block ruins micro positioning, and since minions occur just about everywhere teams like to fight--that is at the major objectives known as towers, inhibitors, and nexuses--being able to position yourself or even reach the enemy becomes very important. For ADCs and ranged casters this isn't too bad, they can always deal damage from outside the creep wave, but for melee and skill-shot based champions, minion block is a nightmare. I have had occasions where I would step into tower range, and turn to leave, but the auto pathing decides to take me the long way around, or when trying to micro through the wave, my character turns around or gets trapped. I have even had occasions in which I couldn't reach my enemy due to minion block. I have really begun to hate it. With my entire inner being, roiling like a boiling cauldron of blazing dragon spittle.

I think champion updates are excellent and delightful, but this might be more important, and I've seen a lot of other people bemoan minion blocking as well. It can really be game-changing. In all honesty, at this point I almost feel like not being able to collide with minions at all, like with Phantom Dancer(old) or Ghost, would be preferable to the current state. It isn't realistic, but neither is twisting about in strange elliptical patterns because pathing gets messed up.

This is not to be spiteful or disrespectful, but an accurate portrayal of my opinion on the subject, mixed with (hopefully) tasteful (if perhaps a little biting) humor.

For fellow League players: please post any (respectful) comments you have. (I know I've had enough of the other kind.)

Thank you ~CrimsonCobra3
