Why malz, nunu and other "low skill" champs ruin the Gameplay of league
Things too simplistic within league generate problems with in every match not just in overall power but fun. Things like Malzahar and Nunu have kits so simplistic in design but so excessively powerful when given even the slightest nudge past certain points. And the reason for this is just the fact that their kits force people into situations that are not fun for anyone other than them.
Lets look at it this way, your in a lane with
; his shield is down and he only has barrier u playing a champion based on engage rather than poke attempt to cease an opportunity to kill him and press a lead, you pushed under your tower, decide to run use a dash ability to begin an engage, malzahar does exactly what you thought he would do, e w q r and your stuck, getting eaten alive by his melting combo, and die while stun locked.
And in retrospect you should have most likely waited for more cds being down, but the fact that your forced to wait for him to use up his w charges to really survive and engage is really obnoxious, And yes you CAN buy a
but just think of this, this champion can be the only champion with cc on the enemy team and you and others are forced to buy this item in the fear of being engaged on and stunlocked.
To everyone, this isnt fun, malz is the only champion in the game that can literally force your entire team to buy
and if you dont wanna take this from a gold look at Professional play everyone excluding the tankiest person on their team and still that person would lose some fights by being singled out as the one person who is suppose to be able to eat that punishment.
But then we get to people like
, where this guy being in meta is a level of unfun that very few people enjoy, and without a complete overhaul this guy is either pick or ban or literally the intentional feeding champ. And a good reason why this is comes from his kit, with the new on hit buffs his clear speed ontop of his q chunk from camps while also remaining so damn healthy means his ganks are basically sprint in throw slow and speed people up, force a flash and then do so again if they push.
I just wanna outline this for everyone though
Perma cc via e slow q heal keeps him healthy q damage keeps his clear speed insane combined with its on hit passive w combined with your e slow forces people to use a dash to escape certain death
