riot .... why am i able to drop divisions.....

so i started this season as bronze 3 back and forth and finally i found a supp i like climbed from bronze 5 to gold 5 then after 4 losses in a row lost out of gold to silver 1 then dropped down to silver 4 ..... wtf is this bs on dropping from gold to silver.....
