Should riot just change ryze's ult into something cometely different but keep the rest of his kit

Riot seems to want to close the gap between pro play and solo queue ryze. The main issue is his ult is useless in solo queue. All you can use it for is to cut off an escape route. They also want to make it so he can duel earlybut not to the same extent he is now but have it be much stronger late. The last attempt to fix ryze ended in failure and they scrapped the rework. It's not going to be his old ult. He has that in his eq/ eeq combo. I don't know what they could change it to. In high elo his ult is fine because people actually communicate. They can actually use the ult to start a fight like they will use it to bring malphite or amumu behind the enemy and then they have nowhere to go. They can also bring the entire team into dragon/Baron to try to stop it and steal or if not kill the entire enemy team to deny the baron assuming you're using it from a remote location where they won't see you. But you're still in range. If it was like that in solo queue, his kit would be fine. Just needs some numbers tweaks to accomplish everything else like they can keep the core concept but change how the damage works. But that's not the case. Also they don't know what the pros would think.
