I honestly think he is a good spot you probably just had a bad game, like darius a lot of people don't know how to play against him and complian rather than find out.

I think his heal is a bit much.

Darius was never picked because he wasn't viable in any comp... this being said it doesn't mean he won't kill you solo. His rework made him viable in a ranked and higher level play. Renekton on the other hand is a different beast you haven't seen him until really Marin pulled him out at worlds... and still most people don't know how to play against him. the heal like Darius allows him to lane otherwise he could stay in lane but for a couple of minutes at a time. which already happens at high level play.
