How come the better i get at the game the more my mmr drops?

Like it seems that the better i get the worse my teamates are making it so that if i cant solo carry my feeder team against a fed team i lose meaning i lose mmr and get even worse teamates. I dont get it should i just start a smurf so i end up in silver now that im way better at the game?
