OP.gg is NOT ALWAYS ACCURATE... don't spam the stats from there like it's god's divine truth!

So, OP.gg shows the winrates of all champs, which is very useful if you want to see how they do in ranked games... BUT... not all champs are the same... meaning, some champs are spammed by everyone, even if they have not played the champ enough to be good with him (Jax, Katarina, Yasuo, Fizz etc... you get the point). On the other hand, other champs are NEVER picked on a whim and are played ONLY by people that main them (good examples are Ezreal, Lissandra, Singed, Anivia, Karthus etc... champs that are not picked a lot). That happens for a reason... because these champs are harder to master than your average champ or the ones that are have very low skillcap (cough GAREN cough Pantheon cough).

So, I had a discussion with a higher Elo player who called me a monkey because I told him Ezreal is not OP right now and said he has 57% winrate... ok, that's high... but that's only on Master tier... and on master tier do you know who the number 1 was? AURELION SOL!!! Who says Aurelion is OP? I think no one... but he's first in win rate... and Ezreal with 57% was only 20th with Kog'Maw and Draven above him... why not nerf Sol Kog Maw or Draven? Because you DON'T HAVE TO... also, Ezreal in low tiers does very bad because he is so hard to play well (around 45% in Bronze and close to 50% in silver) and he might not be on the bottom of the list (in bronze he's very close to the bottom) but he's not that good... At he same time in Diamond he was 1st with 55.13% winrate, but the 30th champ had 52.6%... so it's a small margin and there are tons of champs in there... and in case you're wondering in all ELO combined Ezreal is 25th with 51.77% which is good but that goes up because in Bronze where he is low he is also VERY rarely picked (only idiots like me that main him do it... lol)... also in all Elo combined MF is second in win rate because she is a very easy ADC to play and super useful in teamfights...

Finally, because LoL is more than the 1% of the community that is Diamond and above, if Ezreal was nerfed like people cry about in many many many posts he would be unplayable for 80% of the community... that matters, unless you want this game to become a game for the few good players and all other L2P or go to hell... that is not a gaming company's policy... that's if your CEO is a raging kid that asks for his lollipop and fires everyone that doesn't have one on him...

As I said, Ezreal is just an example, the others I mentioned should be treated the same in regard of their stats... and also you should see the total winrate in ALL ELO... not only the top 1%... you should use the top 1% stats ONLY if some champ is 1st there by a big margin, which would mean there is something wrong... in all elo combined Ezreal is a mediocre champ that is hard to play and the reward you get for good play is now decent ONLY due to Kleptomancy... without it Ezreal is just a WEAK champ...

Anyway, my point wasn't about Ezreal... it's about the stats... each champ's stats should be read differently, thinking of what kind of champ he is and how much he is played and in what way... OP.gg numbers on their own are just numbers... statistics are useful when they are read and analyzed... not when they are read and just posted without any thought... for example a football striker may be scoring in 1 out of 5 shots (which is considered off the charts actually)... but if he is taking only 2 shots per game he's actually a bad striker because he's probably always out of position and just has scored a few easy ones... would you buy this player? NO... he's not good even if his numbers say he's off the charts good... it's not the same as LoL champs but it's just an example of how statistics can be misleading (I'm a sports analyst... sorry, I can't find a better example...)

You're completely misunderstanding fam, In higher elo games it does not come down to picking any champ and expecting to climb easier. It all comes down to abusing who clearly has a high win rate until those champions change. I am not saying you cannot climb with a less played champ, but to climb easier high elo players are usually meta slaves
