I enjoy and am very comfortable playing Talon and Zed mid, Xin Zhao jungle and Morgana support, but I am not comfortable playing any top or adc champion. I could use some suggestions on who I might like based on the other champs I enjoy playing. I want to be prepared to be put in any role in ranked and still do well. Thanks.
Top Lane: If you enjoy Xin, you could try someone like Renekton or Camile. Both fighters with a mix of tank and damage. All of them have strong gap closers and can duel very well
If you want to stick with the high damage assassin kind of game play, try out Riven or Trynd. As they aren't really pure assassins, they are still back line divers who have very high damage.
ADC: Hard to say, in general champions like: MF, Jinx, Ashe, Caitlyn and trist are all really easy to pick up. But if you want to keep the play styles? Maybe Twitch to keep with the assassin theme or Lucian to keep with mobile damage dealer with strong gap closer.

To add on to this, if you play Riven realize it'll take 100% games, and probably some youtube videos to get a hang of really playing her well. As for your champion pools, Camille would probably be a solid pick for you as she's really strong right now. Another champion to fit your skill expressive choice of Zed(outside of Riven) would be Irelia, although at the moment I don't feel like she requires as much skill as she should. That might change with the change to Sterak's though.

I'd suggest Lucian or Xayah. They're usually solid choices throughout the meta(although right now Lucian isn't that great). They seem like champions you'd want to focus on more than the others. Miss Fortune could also be good if you want more ability based ADCs, as would Ezreal, but Ezreal is kind of more of a scaling champion which doesn't seem like your cup of tea.
Thanks for all the suggestions, I really like Riven's outplay potential, but I also realize she is incredibly difficult to play well. I'm not going to spend my blue essence on her yet, I will wait until she is in the free champion rotation to see if i even enjoy playing as her. As for Tryndamere, he is free right now so I will play some games as him. I already have Renekton and haven't really played him very much. I will get back to you guys after I have played some games.
