Riot you need to allow all champions to be powerful and viable

I don't know about anyone else, but the way Riot works feels very strange. There are over 125 champions in the game now and yet it only feels like 30 at once are ever in the fold. Granted, not every single one will be perfectly balanced and we all understand that.

But how exactly is balance done? For ages now Yasuo has consistently been among the most popular champions, which in itself is fine. But other champions getting popular seems to be met with a swift and deadly execution whether that be through kits, numbers, or items. Soraka Soraka for instance. A strong healer, with the ability to occasionally silence and potentially stun a small area... And that is it. She has been in a good place for a while now, but suddenly she starts to become recognised as a decent support and is met with huge kit wrenching changes on the PBE.

This has happened consistently now for whole seasons. The point is, champions need to be allowed power spikes. This is what will actually allow champions to be viable. What is the point in gutting a champion to the extent they will not see the light of day for anything up to (and sometimes over) a year? Riven, Vayne, Lee sin, Leblanc, Yasuo. These type of champions are allowed to sit at the top, and go relatively un-nerfed. Yi for instance becomes a nightmare when ahead. But this is fine because his power spike is his Q. Without that he has nothing.

(You could say Vayne only rose up fairly recently but honestly she has always been a powerhouse, the public eye just failed to realise the level 1 Q was more powerful than the level 5 Q now)

By allowing champions to hit spikes, there is more reason to take them. Do not mistake this for champs that are simply unstoppable like the reworked Morde. Too often we are seeing the champions that are great at everything, squash those who are specialised in something. And you can tweak until the end of time until you realise that.

By allowing all the champions to have ONE niche really good thing about them, I believe we would see a much higher diversity within the game. Many will always complain but there is a counter for everything. Is that not the design nature of this game? Give players a reason not to chose from a small pool of characters, because they are always assured to be jack of all trades. There is nothing wrong in having strong heals, strong CC, strong ults, on champions that have not much else than their intended, created strengths.

For the love of god. Stop making these small meaningless changes and empower all champions, not snip the power off specialised picks like Lucian Soraka Rammus Swain Nunu

TL DR Overloaded kits are squashing the small fries and Riot punish them for being good at usually the one thing they are good at.
