Honor system: a request to the community
I'm sure everyone has already noticed the impact of the new honor system on general behaviour. Some people more, some people less but overall I think things are improving. I know it's still too early to make concrete statements, but I feel there is some momentum here which we need to grasp.
The thing is that riot provided us with a (powerful) tool to reward good behaviour. This means that it is up to us (the community) to maintain this tool and use it correctly.
The moment we stop honoring or don't think hard enough about who deserves our precious honor, this system will collapse. So I ask of everybody to keep honoring and to keep this system meaningful even when you lose trust in the new way of honoring. There likely will be a hundred times where you deserve to be honored but end up getting nothing. However this isn't the fault of the next people you play with. Keep that in mind a keep the honors flowing.
If this system fails, it would be just as much our failure as it would be riot's.
