what kind of joke is this his E doesnt even scale with AD but darius does so why in the world does it cost this much mana like look at camiles Q it cost like 25 mana? its a joke so unfair

If a nasus could spam e then he could literally stall top lane and possibly even take the lane hostage despite being an infinitely scaling champ.
because his Q costs next to nothing

On a more serious note note. It is a gate because AD and AP nasus have a different enough playstyle removing it would hurt nasus overall imo.
Because his E has very good AP scaling, is a completely instant AOE with high(largely unavoidable) frontloaded damage, and if it were cheap people would be encouraged to play him AP, which would be horrible for the game as a whole.
Nasus E could be toned down in mana cost a bit but his W should get increased in mana /cdr as a result. Perma wither is not fun.
