I think a support item should be added or altered to encourage more rare and/or longer trades.

Regarding the recent mage nerfs and changes, I'm starting to want a support item that encourages rare and longer-lasting trades, instead of just spamming an ability for gold and a bit of damage. I'm not an elo expert, but I'm sure this happens more often in certain elos, but in others, we often see champions, such as or , simply buy to spam one ability for dmg + gold, and shield when the enemy does the same. I'm not necessarily saying I want these squishy sups to be of more use during trades and to compeltely ignore champions more suited for trading, say , but instead to just have an item to support such people that do this. Instead of buying items to auto attack minions like a normal laner or wait for a coin to pop up, I'd like to see more smaller fights. Aside, they have twice the utility than other lanes. I'd really like to see something that pushes for lengthier trades in laning. Maybe something like a reward but for dealing and/or shielding damage champions repeatedly over a 5-10 second period. Laning has been plain recently, mostly inclusive of farming, poking, ganking, backing, repeat. Feels a tad too bland, and trading is nearly considered just an q followed by a step away from the enemy laner(s). I'm no expert at League of Legends, and I'm sure there's a reason as to why I'm wrong. Either way, I'd love to hear your comments if you don't mind. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]
