I know that everybody is mad about the "we like to let other champions be in the spotlight" or w/e

But, there is a reason certain champions remain in the spotlight and will continue to be there. Marketing. They have to show the pro players striving to pick crazy champions and such in competitive simply because the flashier the champion, the more interesting the game looks. I think I've said something like this in an older post but that's pretty much the reason. More skins for those champions means more money for the company. I don't think Yasuo or anyone else that frustrates you will be nerfed to Sejuani tier for a long time. At least not until other champions are released or other champions get more "exciting" reworks that match the level of some other champions.
