With champs like Zoe who are annoying have little skill requirement and low cds and champs like Rakan and Xayah who's lore kinda ruins older champs like Zed it's not hard to see why this game is losing players daily and viewers for their main tournaments. Fix your game Riot or even people like me who only casually play will leave for the more appealing choices like Overwatch which is overhyped

Not sure how this game is "dieing" when active players is up (happens everytime at beginning of season though), viewership for LCS Games is actually peaking, as well as viewership for the last World Championship was at an all time high. LCS is now franchised, Japan is passing legislation to allow Esports tournaments in the country, which the main 2 games presented will be League and Dota, and the Olympics want to add Esports to their summer program by 2024 though they said they have to be non violent endorsing games (means stuff like CSGO is a no go.)

So if anything, League is about to really take off here in the next 3-5 years...

This game can't die because it isn't alive, but we are all dying, that's for sure.

TBH, my only problem with the Rito is they don't have enough champion pods for new champs and reworks. I say they should up the number to around 8.

Technicly, Games only really "die", when noone gives a rat´s ass to even write it in any forums, or talk with People about it. Thats why LoL is, and prob will be, far long from dying

Dead Games are just left to rot, they can´t really be watched dying in an acutal Process. At least thats how I have viewed it all the time.

Want an rather new Example for this? For Honor Its more or less dead atm, but did you hear much about it? Probably not.
