And it feels like she has the same DPS as 
while being ranged and having her W and ult to peel, with the highest range in the game (come late game) and crazy tower destruction. While not being particularly fed, just farming well.
Sure you can burst her, like every squishy champion in the game, but still, how strong is she really? Or is it ADC itemization that's too strong?
I believe all the champs are fairly well balanced. Trist is like any other adc, i guess you simply saw a decent player on trist...but any of the other can do the same stuff. The fact that trist range doesnt really come until late game is significant, but her tower damage is slightly better than most adc. She can hop around and stuff which means she can make some fancy plays, but the adc that cant hop around generally exceed her in damage or utility etc. Trist doesnt have the highest late game range btw, kog maw with w does. All adc can match or exceed yi in damage...cause they build glass cannon, and can do damage from a reasonably safe distance. Yi is not the overpowered champ many low elo seem to think. Yi really is good at chasing people down that the teams adc already routed :P

The only way you should be complaining about tristana is if 
are all banned.
Although that's not outside the realm of possibility considering how bs those 3 are.
well, they made the same mistake as they did before the rework - giving her way too much dps-potential for the savest marksmen in the game (jup, disengage, insane range). right now she´s just like jinx...she get´s way too much reward if a fight starts going in her favour due to the reset clean-up and insane tower dmg. With any other carry your happy to take 1 turret after a good fight, with trist you´re likly to get 2-3 and get so far ahead that the game is over. Yi actually is a good comparision as he does exactly the same when he gets rolling.
Yi's DPS is way way way higher than Trist and Trist is like 5th in ADC DPS
