New honor system looks cool but as a vet player I could care less about it

Anyone else feel the same way? If it came out a few years ago I would have been pumped. Hell I remember when the first honor system came out and I was pretty hyped. Call me old but I could care less about the new honor system. Maybe it's all the salt I have built up over the years but I just don't want to honor anyone lol or care to get honored. And the fact it has impact on getting key frags is annoying to me. But hell.... as someone who has a lot of skins and all champs I don't care about chests/crates either.

Funniest part is after all these years Riot finally making runes free with revamping their system and I could care less. Don't see why they didn't just make them free rather than having to change the old system but it's w/e I hope it works out. But aren't they talking about giving vet players IP for the runes they bought? LIKE... who the F cares. The last thing I need is more IP.

Think I am just too old for this game. I am sure it's hype for students and college kids just getting into it. But someone playing since release it all just makes it tiresome. The grading system I thought was cool at first but I don't even look at my grades anymore. I wish they didn't make such a dumb mastery system. The whole having to spend "blue essence" and get a certain number of S's or w/e to rank up is just so dull to me. Maybe for the kids out there it feels cool but to me I see it as just a money opportunity for Riot and a waste of time. Call me old school but if I want a skin I just buy it lol.

The mission thing is cool too don't see why it took them 7-8? years to release it. Like... once again a new thing that is probably sweet if you just started playing within the last 2 years. But to me I have no reason to waste time on it. Summoner icons are a joke can't imagine even wasting time trying to collect more.

Idk man just wish Riot had ways to give back to their longest supporters. If you had ways to unlock chromas or other cool things in game I would probably be for it. Actually more than that I wish I could see my stats for all the games I played going back. They probably don't have the data anymore but it feels really dumb seeing "your mastery score" knowing that it might be lvl 1 with a champ that you used to main like 3 years ago but haven't really played since the mastery system came up. Or..... being w/e level honor in new system when you used to have honor banner when new system was released or back when you actually cared about honoring people.

PUBG is my new addiction. Game is adding shit all the time super quick. I wish Riot would have followed their development style. Most my friends probably wouldn't have quit playing it 3-4 years ago. Ah well it has only been the most popular games for years but until recently has felt like they never made a profit.
