Worst experience of my life

So I was just playing as Ahri mid against an Annie mid and what started as a relatively even matchup turned into the biggest bs I've seen in my life. Annie has some serious damage once she gets some items. So much damage, in fact, that I'm scratching my head as to why it hasn't been nerfed yet. For instance, later that game, with Luden's, Deathcap, Zhonyas, Rod of Ages, and two more AP items (yes, she went full AP no boots), this annie's q was doing well over 800 with a Luden's proc. Let's just take a moment to think about this. 800 damage on Annie's Q. That q is on a 4 second cooldown and costs relatively low mana at all levels -- none if it kills her target -- so that's basically 65-75% of a Veigar ult's damage EVERY 4 SECONDS. Now, keep in mind, that's just her q. Let me repeat that. She does that much damage with only one incredibly low cooldown basic ability. We're not even taking into account her w, e, and r. On top of that, with the Rod of Ages, she becomes even more survivable in fights which just gives her more opportunities to lay down that damage. Do you get my point? It's kind of ridiculous, huh.

Not really. She's a late game hyper carry stun mage. If you let her get that far into the game then of course your going to be having issues fighting her. Now while I play a relatively annoying annie (RoA and Rylia's crystal scepter as my 1st two items) I know how most players really believe her damage is off the chats. And while some ability's of hers are in fact stupid high scaling (Ehem, ultimate) she usually can be easily kept in check with the right amount of poke / ganks in the early game. Plus there is also this wonderful things called magic resist. idc who you are and what role your in you should have at least a banshee's against annie at all times.

You are playing the best midlaner in the game. If you can't beat Annie, that's a problem with you.

Because you don't get that any, any champion will do tons of damage if they are fed to the point where they have 12k+ in items.

Should we make a "Nerf Caitlyn" thread because I out-slugged an Udyr even with his stuns?

I've calculated that a full AP Sona can deal 1700+ damage in a single Q+AA with Luden's and Lich's at full build. That is not counting her powerchord bonus with which she can either add 200 damage, cripple target's damage by 35% for 3 seconds (half the time required for another full shot), or slow her target for 70%. That is not counting either ult, heal, shield or movement speed bonuses and rather low mana costs, or their effects on allies. Also, Q+AA are unavoidable.

Obviously, a fair investment in magic resist can cripple that damage but not the powerchord effects.

And let's all forget to mention adc's with their 1200 damage critting auto attacks that are point and click with a 0.5 second cooldown?
