What if Rengar's Q was more like a Nidalee pounce that can't go over walls?

Imagine his Q had the same hitboxes but the second hit animated as a small pounce similar to Nidalee's without the ability to go over walls? Then if it's empowered he gets the bonus damage and the range of the pounce doubles. (but still can't go over walls) He is a cat after all and yet has no distinguishable cat-like mannerisms.
