A FREE ITEM NEGATES ALL STEALTH BASED CHAMPS

I'm starting to wonder about Riot and if they even bother to test or even consider all the angles of their changes. This season has been the worse season I have ever played and at this point I'm just about ready to give up. I like stealth champs but you can't play them much in ranked because anyone with half a brain buys a free item and makes you moot. The token system for warding made sense. But having tokens detect someone's ultimate and negate it makes absolutely no sense. Before when you wanted to counter stealth champs or grenades you had to actually consider the trade off of losing gold to accomplish it. Now anyone with out much thought can negate Rengar's ult, Teemo's ult, Shaco, etc. I mean really consider it for a moment. Imagine not being able to use your ult properly because a champion has an item that took no effort to get.

I wouldn't say it negates Rengar's ult because unless he breaks the stealth himself he can still leap on you. If he's fed, you just get the pleasure of seeing his outline as he 100-0s you lol.

define negate

at what cost do you negate, is it really free because not being able to ward doesn't sound free

A FREE ITEM NEGATES ALL STEALTH BASED CHAMPS

Only if you know when and were they're coming.

Which is difficult when they're, you know, stealthy.

I agree, Red Trinket disabling traps is a bit too harsh on Teemo and Shaco.

However, what Red Trinket does (the red silhouette effect) is actually beautiful and brilliant design. It gives players a chance to react / interact with an invisible champ without totally robbing the invis champ of their invisibility (untargetability).

If the game had more such detection effects, Riot could afford to give the stealth crew real strength and utility because stealth would no longer consume so much of their power budget. Riot, please.

This is irrelevant because you know the only people who buy it? Supports. I literally see no one else get the red trinkets.

Ok so..... obviously that rengo was fed, just not quite as smart playing. That red trinket gives outlines every second. A good Rengo would have known to expect cc coming at him after first being seen, and would NOT have continued charging straight forward but went slightly to the side and then charged more. It is fairly simple to outplay, it is more of a scare seeing the outline than the rengo actually jumping at you.

Also, Oracles lens has about 2 minute cooldown most of the time. If your mushrooms are that condensed, that they see all of them and take them all out within its life.... you are doing something wrong with Teemo. If they find YOU with it, then you were hiding in a slot there are normally wards or shrooms, and so you got yourself caught.

With the new oracles and sweeper, there is a lot of ways for stealth champions to play around it. Half the time i can't even attack the outline from the stealthed champion because they are not just shown, so if they move there isnt anything you can attack.

With Evelynn, it doesnt effect her at all because if shes in range of oracles, she is seen anyways.

Stealth will never be balanced in League. Its not even a good mechanic to have anymore. Tell me who here actually likes fighting a good evelynn or shaco

Don't forget that even if you are swept out you are still untargetable.
